XXIV International scientific and technical conference "Foundry production and metallurgy. Belarus 2016" (Summary)
The annual XXIV International scientific and technical conference "Foundry production and metallurgy. Belarus 2016" was organized by Association of foundrymen and metallurgists of Belarus (ALIM) on the basis of Belarusian National Technical University and took place on Oct 19 -20, 2016 in Minsk.
More than 200 leading scientists and specialists in the field of foundry production and metallurgy from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Egypt participated in the Conference.
Within the conference 36 reports and the presentations were provided, 4 round tables are carried out, the advertising exhibition of the entities and organizations in the field of foundry production and metallurgy was organized. Special release of the “Foundry Production and Metallurgy” Journal with the publication of reports of conferees was published.
Particular interest was attracted by the reports on a conditions and the prospects of development of foundry and metallurgical production of Belarus (BMZ – Belarus), about progressive technologies and creation of the competitive equipment for foundry productions (BELNIILIT – Belarus), about production and use of isothermal processed high-strength ductile iron ADI, (CMNII – Egypt) and many others.
Some conferees visited and got acquainted with the entities and the organizations of Minsk (MTZ, the plant of gear wheels, the plant of the heating equipment, BELNIILIT, Industrial ecological systems and others).
Participants positively assessed the conference and wished to the organizers – Association of foundrymen and metallurgists - to successfully host the next XXV International Annual Conference.
XXV International scientific and technical conference "Foundry production and metallurgy. Belarus 2017" will be carried out in October, 2017 in Minsk.
