About the company

The Association of foundrymen and metallurgists of the Belarus Republic is registered on May, 25th, 2010 and is the assignee of the Belorussian public association of foundrymen and metallurgists.

The association of foundrymen and metallurgists (ALiM), further referred to as «Association», is the independent, not having departmental subordination, consolidating on contract basis efforts of scientific-production, production associations, enterprises and organizations in achievement of assigned goals.

The main aim of Association is uniting of creative potential of faculty, scientific officers and production specialists of foundry and metallurgical productions.

    Subject of activity of Association is:
• assistance in scientific and technical progress in foundry and metallurgy;
• revealing and forming of public opinion on the basic directions and prospects of development of foundry and metallurgy;
• rendering assistance in education and retraining of personnel for foundry and metallurgy;
• establishment of connections of foundrymen and metallurgists of the Republic of Belarus with the International and national societies and unions of foundrymen and metallurgists and with the separate foreign enterprises, national associations and communities of foundrymen and metallurgists of other countries;
• assistance to social protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the members, veterans of foundry and metallurgical productions.

   The main goals of Association:
• assistance on improvement of working conditions and environmental protection in foundry and metallurgical productions;
• ensuring of improvement of quality of production, mechanization and automation of production;
• stimulation of development and rendering of assistance to factories in introduction of works on new materials, technologies, equipment, computerization;
• assistance to realization of goods and services produced by the enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Belarus in the field of foundry and metallurgical productions;
• establishment in determinate order of connections of foundrymen and metallurgists of the Republic of Belarus with the International and national societies and unions of foundrymen and metallurgists, and also with the separate foreign enterprises

    Methods of activity of ALiM:
• publishing of the quarterly Journal “Foundry production and Metallurgy” with Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU, www.journals.bntu.by), www.limrb.by;
• organization of Annual International Scientific and Technical Conferences “Foundry and metallurgy. Belarus” in October since 1992. realization of research, engineering and other legitimate activities in the field of foundry and metallurgy;
• rendering of assistance in placing of orders for production and delivery of «know-how» (technical secrets) equipment, accessories, devices and services;
• participation in development of building projects of new and reconstruction of operating foundry and metallurgical sectors;
• carrying out of appraisal of plans and technical projects, rendering to its members of consulting and information services;
• participation in the international congresses, exhibitions, conferences and other activities;
• organization and holding of seminars, schools of an advanced experience, «round tables» and other collective activities on subjects of foundry and metallurgy at the expense of own funds (payment of transportation cost, travel allowance, representation expenses, and also expenses on reception of foreign delegations);
• direction of young specialists for educating and training in the best domestic and foreign educational institutions and at the enterprises;
• carrying out of other activity not contradicting the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus and corresponding to the authorized purposes and tasks;

 In 2011 the Association of founders and metallurgists has rene wed its membership in the World Foundry Organization.

Association activity is carried out according to the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus, the Civil Code of the Republic of Belarus, the present Charter and in close interaction with republican and local state bodies, public organizations.

The association is the legal body and operates on the basis of full economic independence, possesses the isolated property on the ownership, has settlement and other accounts in banks, seal, corresponding stamps and blanks with the name and symbols.
